- As I celebrate my 10th year as a painter, I will once again go back to
my roots and redefine the images of girls and women with a pale light that
are my personal icons. In search of a stronger "pale light".

嫌いと言いながら執着する人
「知らなければよかった」そんな人の心境に心を寄せては後悔します。
それでも相反する感情を蠢かせ矛盾している瞬間の人間臭さにどうしようもなく惹かれ、また想像してしまうのです。
そんな「アベコベ」をアクリル画で描きました。
この度の初個展、少しの後悔を胸に楽しんでいただけますと幸いです。

Someone who says they love you but despises you
People who say they hate it but are attached to it
`I wish I hadn't known.'' If you empathize with the feelings of such people, you will regret it.
Even so, I am inexplicably drawn to the human nature of moments when conflicting emotions are writhing and contradictory, and I find myself imagining them again.
I drew such "Abekobe" with acrylic painting.
I hope that you enjoy this first solo exhibition, with some regrets in mind.

ご好評いただきました真木環作品を引き続きbisで展示いたします。
これまで一貫して少女をモチーフとして描いてきたが、作家として10年目を迎える本展覧会では「対峙する少女」をテーマにした。
絵画世界で少女が対峙するのは、悪魔、魔物、魔女、動く玩具たち等。それらを前にして少女たちは不安や恐れ、戸惑いを感じる。
絵画世界は額縁で囲まれた箱庭であるが、世界の縮図でもある。
願わくば人々が未知を前にして恐れつつも勇気ある一歩を踏み出さんことを。

I have consistently painted girls as my motif, and for this exhibition,
which marks my 10th year as an artist, I have chosen the theme of "a
girl confronting". In the world of paintings, girls are confronted
by demons, monsters, witches, moving toys, and so on. They feel anxiety,
fear, and confusion when confronted with them. The world of paintings is
a boxed garden surrounded by a frame, but it is also a microcosm of the
world. Hopefully, people will take a fearful yet courageous step forward
in the face of the unknown.

1968年フランス、ボルドー生まれ。彫刻家、写真家。
自作の彫刻作品を撮影するためにカメラを持つ。自然の中で天真爛漫にふるまう自分の子供たちと猫との生活を撮影した作品は、愛情にあふれ、ときにユーモラスであるだけでなく、独特なアングルや、シャッターのタイミングの絶妙さには驚くべきものがあり、単なる家族のスナップ写真の域を超えた魅力があります。現在、世界各地で展覧会やワークショップを開催。
9年ぶりとなる今回の展示では、ラムダプリント約20点をご覧いただきます。

Born in Bordeaux, France in 1968. Sculptor and photographer.
He started photography to photograph his own sculptures. His photographs of his own life with his children and cats, who act innocently in nature, are not only affectionate and sometimes humorous, but also surprising in their unique angles and the exquisite timing of the shutter. He currently holds exhibitions and workshops around the world.
In this exhibition, his first in nine years, we will show approximately 20 lambda prints.
