I remember a black shadow I saw on my way home sometime I was there. It
is close to us. Something dark and terrifying, looking at us as if it is
twisting around our skin, and when we notice it, it enters us and casts
a dark shadow over our hearts.
The alien that we all have in our hearts.

根橋洋一の描く妖しい魅力を放つ少女たちの周りでは、時間は失われ、空間が歪む。
そして、少女の蠱惑的なまなざしに、いつの間にかその危うい世界に囚われてしまうのです。
執拗なまでに描き込まれた細部は作品に重厚さを与え、強靭さを支えています。
2年ぶりとなる今回の個展では、13点の鉛筆画をご覧いただきます。

Time is lost and space is distorted around the bewitching girls depicted
by NEBASHI Yoichi. And with the girls' bewitching gazes, we are somehow
trapped in their perilous world.
The obsessively rendered details give the works their gravity and support their toughness.
In this solo exhibition, his first in two years, we are pleased to present
13 pencil drawings.
