人物と季節の花々を中心に日本画を制作しています。
日々の中には、ふとした瞬間に心を動かしてくれるささやかな生命や事象が溢れています。そうした「愛おしい瞬間」に出会えたとき、それを自分だけのものとして留めておきたいという願いと、その美しさを誰かに知ってほしいという思い――。絵に残すことで、相反する衝動を満たしている気がします。
今回の個展では、愛おしい日々の記憶や、胸の中で大切に温めてきた理想の情景を重ね合わせて描きました。ご高覧いただけましたら幸いです。

Artist’s Comment
"I create Japanese-style paintings (nihonga) centered on figures and seasonal flowers.
Our everyday lives are filled with small forms of life and fleeting phenomena that, in unexpected moments, quietly move our hearts. When I encounter such a “cherished moment,” I find myself torn between two opposing desires: the wish to keep it as something uniquely my own, and the wish for someone else to know and share in its beauty. I feel that by preserving these moments in my paintings, I am able to satisfy both of these impulses.
For this solo exhibition, I have brought together memories of cherished
days and ideal scenes that I have carefully nurtured within my heart, layering
them into my paintings. I would be delighted if you would take the time
to view my work."
