“I wish to spend each day with a heart that is always calm and clear,
on a bright and open day, like the wind, like a flower.”
This exhibition presents 23 paintings of women, depicting the clothing they wear and the various expressions they reveal amid the landscapes of the changing seasons.

今回の個展では、私自身が好きな文学や音楽などから着想を得て制作した、ノスタルジックな作品を中心に展示いたします。
個展タイトルにある「ヴォカリーズ」とは、歌詞を伴わずに「アアア…」や「ラララ…」で歌う歌唱法、またはそのための声楽曲のことです。
どこからか聞き覚えのある歌が聞こえてくる。すると、それを聞いていたときの感情の記憶がよみがえってくる…
そのような感覚をあらわして、個展タイトルを「ヴォカリーズがきこえる」としました。
作品が、ご覧いただいた方の遠い時間や感情の記憶に、そっと触れることができましたら幸いです。

"For this solo exhibition, I present a selection of nostalgic works
inspired by literature, music, and other things that I personally love.
The term “vocalise” in the exhibition title refers to a style of singing
without lyrics, using sounds such as “ah-ah-ah…” or “la-la-la…,”
as well as a vocal composition written for this type of singing. Imagine
hearing a familiar song drifting in from somewhere. Suddenly, the emotional
memories associated with the time when you first heard it come back to
you… It was this sensation that inspired the title of the exhibition,
I Hear a Vocalise I hope that my works will gently touch upon the distant
memories and emotions held within each viewer."
