没後10年 合田佐和子展

合田佐和子は、1940年高知生まれ、2016年2月没。
武蔵野美術学校在学中より制作していたオブジェ作品を瀧口修造に認められ、その後、油彩、写真、映像、舞台美術などにその才能を発揮し、マルチアーティストの先駆けとして60年代以降の日本のアートシーンにおいて独自の足跡を残しました。
合田佐和子が私たちの前から去ってもう10年経ちました。しかし、彼女の遺したものは、色褪せるどころか、ますますその輝きを増しています。
今回の展示には、ギャラリーの所蔵作品に加え、作家と親交のあった方の所蔵する作品をお借りして展示いたします。

GODA Sawako exhibition : 10 years after her passing

Born in Kochi in 1940, died in Kanagawa in 2016. Sawako Goda attended Musashino
Art University where she primarily produced objet d'art which earned her
the recognition of Shuzo Takiguchi. As her career as an artist progressed,
she subsequently demonstrated talents in oil painting, photography, film,
the art of play scenic, and other media.
Ten years have passed since Sawako Goda (1940-2016) disappeared from our sight, but far from fading, her legacy continues to shine brighter than ever.
For this exhibition, in addition to works from the gallery's collection,
we will borrow works from the collection of people who were friends with
the artist.
