ジュール・パスキン展 日時：2013年1月15日（火）〜2月3日（日）　月休　12:00〜19:00　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　 2013年最初の展覧会は、エコール・ド・パリの画家として知られるジュール・パスキンの作品展です。 ジュール・パスキンは、1885年ブルガリア生まれ、19歳でドイツの風刺雑誌『ジンプリツィシムス』の専属挿絵画家となり、翌1905年パリへ出て画家としての活動を始めます。1914年第一次世界大戦の影響でアメリカに移りますが、個展を開催し、グループ展に出品するなどアメリカでも高い評価を得るようになります。その後、アメリカ国籍を取得、国吉康雄と親交を結ぶなどし、1920年パリに戻ります。当時のパリは周辺各国から芸術家がパリに集まってさまざまな様式の芸術が花開き、やがて「エコール・ド・パリ」と呼ばれます。1930年6月2日、個展初日の前日に自ら定めた寿命を全うするまで、表面的には華やかな放蕩三昧の日々を送ります。娼婦を描いたエロティックな作品や淡い色彩の少女の絵のほか、風刺的な作品を多く残しました。今回の展示では、版画作品を中心に油彩や素描、挿画本など15点をご覧いただきます。 また、パスキンの妻であったエルミーヌ・ダヴィッドの作品も参考展示いたします。 Jules Pascin "Danseuses" 1910 Oil on paper 18.0x24.0cm JULES PASCIN January 15 Tue. - February 3 Sun. 12:00 - 19:00 Open Tue. - Sun.
