大寺史紗展「砂のない時計」

「女性として生まれたことに対する憂鬱、悦びを 心地よい形まで崩し変形した女性像の中で表現しています。
画面に登場する女性は、全て自分をモチーフに描いたものであり、謂わば自画像として存在しています。」
今年1月に卒業制作として発表し、大学の優秀作品賞を受賞した大作と、同時期に制作したペンによるモノクロームの作品、日本画の和紙、墨、岩絵の具を用いた作品など18点を展示します。
現在 武蔵野美術大学 修士課程美術専攻 日本画コース在学中

Misa Ohtera exhibition "Hourglass without the sand"

JIRO MIURA GALLERY is pleased to announce Misa Ohtera's first solo exhibition.
Misa Ohtera graduated from Musashino Art University this March and her
graduation work won the award of excellence. Ohtera is studying Japanese
Painting in the graduate school of Musashino Art University now.
We are showing 18 of her works including Japanese Paintings, drawings by
pen, and of course her large graduation work.
"I try to express my images, the transformation of melancholy and pleasure for having been born a woman to a comfortable form.
The women in my works are depicting myself, so they can be said to be "self-portrait"."
