合田佐和子展「銀幕」

合田佐和子（1940年〜2016年）は、1965年にオブジェ作家としてデビュー以来、絵画、版画、写真、映像作品を発表する他、唐十郎や寺山修司の舞台・映画美術を担当するなど、60年代以降のカルチャーシーンで重要なポジションを担いました。
みうらじろうギャラリーでは、2013年から毎年合田佐和子の仕事を紹介しておりますが、今回は1985年に出版された版画集『銀幕』を始めとする映画スターを描いた作品を中心に展示いたします。

Since her debut as an object creator in 1965, Sawako Goda (1940 - 2016) has exhibited so many paintings, printmaking, photographs and visual works, as well as in charge of the stages and films of Juro Kara and Shuji Terayama. She played an important position in the Japanese culture scene after 1960's.
At Jiro Miura Gallery, we have introduced the work of Sawako Goda every year since 2013. This time we will exhibit the works depicting movie stars including the print collection "Screen" published in 1985.
